Project 365

Week 1

As I mentioned in my first post on this blog, my goal is to participate in Project 365 this year. This project involves taking a picture everyday for the entire year. It could be something that you did on that day, or something completely random.

Day1: January 1, 2012 - Happy New Year

Day 2: January 2, 2012 - Flowers from Justin. (:

Day 3- January 3, 2012 -My favorite chapstick.

Day 4 - January 4, 2012 - I was walking around the house yelling Ollie's name. He wouldn't come. I was started to panic, because he's so small, and I was thinking maybe he slipped past me and went outside when I had opened the door. Instead, I walked from the bathroom into my bedroom, and found him nestled between some pillows I had lying in the floor because I was changing my sheets.

Day 5 - January 5, 2012 - Justin's grandma makes the BEST homemade salsa.  This is what's for dinner tonight.

Day 6 - January 6, 2012 - Cherry Pepsi is my FAVORITE drink EVER!

Day 7 - January 7, 2012 - This is my best friend, Karen's, little girl, Madi.  She is a 18 months old, and is a total pistol. (:  She LOVES to pose for pictures, so she was being a huge ham when I took this one.

Week 2

Day 8 - January 8, 2012 - My wall in my utility room before the wall tree.

Day 9 - January 9, 2012 - I took a picture of the blog because this is the day we started it.  I thought it would be cool to document our blogiversary.

Day 10 - January 10, 2012 - "Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale." Love this quote.

Day 11 - January 11, 2012 - "Every day we make it, we'll make it the best we can."  My boss took all the ladies from the office to the Jack Daniels Distillery today in Lynchburg, TN.  This quote was hanging on the wall in Jack's old office.  It is such a great quote and can be applied to many aspects of life.

Day 12 - January 12, 2012 - My book page wreath that I made.  Find the directions I used here.  Also, find the link to Miranda's book page wreath here.

Day 13 - January 13, 2012 - I finished my wall tree coat hanger out of reclaimed barn wood today.  This is in my utility room, and it is the PERFECT spot to hang coats, purses, and keys.  Check out the detailed post on this project here.

Day 14 - January 14, 2012 - I finished cleaning and organizing my utility room today.  Where this shelf sits, there used to be a cedar hutch that was a hand-me-down (and that I was not too fond of).  My parents got me this shelf for Christmas, along with the cloth storage bins so that it is neat looking and organized.

Week 3

Day 15 - January 15, 2012 - This little porcelain doll was given to me by my boss.  A very close friend of his family passed away, and the family auctioned off the house and personal property.  My boss bought some dolls from her home.  He took all the ladies from the shop over to pick out a doll.  This is the doll that I picked out.  I liked her because her dress has crimson checks on it, and since I'm an Alabama fan, and my office is decorated in Alabama crimson, she sits in my office as decoration.

Day 16 - January 16, 2012 - If these boots could talk...Oh, the stories they would tell.

Day 17 - January 17, 2012 - The sky looked wicked on this day...

Day 18 - January 18, 2012 - Driving by a random driveway, I saw all these old vehicles...

Day 19 - January 19, 2012 - We had a baby shower for Anthony & Taylor at work today.  Here they are pictured with their cake, compliments of Sweet Tea Bakery.  It was delish! (:

Day 20 - January 20, 2012 - Ollie after his bath, all bundled up.

Day 21 - January 21, 2012 - Ms. Madi was worn out while Karen & I shopped at Target.  She fell asleep sitting up, and we had to find a pillow to hold her head up.

Week 4

Day 22 - January 22, 2012 - Obviously, I had worn Ollie out from all the cleaning and organizing that I had done today.

Day 23 - January 23, 2012 - My baby puppy, Ollie (with glowing eyes).

Day 24 - January 24, 2012 - Another picture of my baby puppy, Ollie.

Day 25 - January 25, 2012 - I found this little owl at an antique store.  He was an ugly brown one, but I spruced him up with a little bit of my fave vintage white acrylic paint, and it turned out great to use as an accessory for my bathroom countertops.

Day 26 - January 26, 2012 - My craft room looks like a "hot mess" today...must've been a lot of crafting done this week. (:

Day 27 - January 27, 2012 - Crossing over the bridge into Illinois...going to see Justin.

Day 28 - January 28, 2012 - The sky was beautiful in Carbondale, IL this afternoon.
